Our Curriculum
At Angelina’s Day Care (ADC), our curriculum provides a secure, inclusive, and nurturing foundation for early learning, enabling children to develop as confident, curious, and capable learners.
We recognise that every child is unique, arriving with different experiences, languages, cultures, and abilities. Our curriculum prioritises communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development as the foundations for learning, wellbeing, and future success.
Learning at ADC is play-based, purposeful, and responsive, shaped by children’s interests, developmental needs, and real-life experiences. Children learn through a balance of child-initiated play, adult-guided activities, and everyday routines, supported by warm relationships and consistent structures.
Seasonal learning, cultural and religious celebrations, and community experiences are woven into the curriculum to promote curiosity, respect, and a strong sense of belonging, while supporting progression across all areas of learning.
Inclusion & Support
Inclusion is central to our approach. Children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are supported through adaptive teaching and inclusive environments.
Ongoing observation ensures children make progress from their starting points, develop confidence and independence, and leave ADC well prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.
